Fees and Charges for 2021-2022 - Licensing Service pdf icon PDF 252 KB

To consider non-statutory fees and charges for the financial year 2021/22.

Additional documents:

Minutes:

As part of the annual review of budgets, the Committee has reviewed non-statutory fees and charges for the Licensing Service for 2021/2022.

The Committee noted that the Coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on the economy, and businesses in the New Forest had been affected by a reduction in trade and loss of income. The Service has worked with the businesses to assist them in continuing to operate as far as possible.

In order to further support the continuation of those businesses who have struggled

financially this year, is was suggested that licensing fees remain unchanged for

2021/22 and they be fully reviewed for 2022/23, when the impact of the

pandemic should be known and the business climate will be more stable.

The Committee noted a typographical error in Appendix A, where the 2021/22 application fee for a new single pitch caravan site should have read £450, rather than £750. The Appendix would be corrected*.

RECOMMENDED:

That the recommended fees for the financial year 2021/22 as set out in the attached Appendix (*as amended) be agreed.
