08/07/2024 - New Forest Disability Information Services - Just Got Home / Independence Matters. ref: 1209 Recommendations Approved
The purpose of this report is to seek approval
from the Housing and Homelessness Portfolio Holder to provide
additional funding to New Forest Disability Information Services
(NFDIS) to cover the shortfall in costs for them to provide the
Just Got Home and Independence Matters schemes.
Approval is also sought for an additional £17,660 for the
financial year 2024/25.

On 8 July 2024, Cllr Steve Davies, the
Portfolio Holder for Housing and Homelessness made the following
decision:
That an additional £17,660 is provided to NFDIS in the form
of a grant to continue with the Just Got Home Scheme at Lymington
and Romsey Hospital for the financial year 2024/25.
Any member of the Council, who is not a Portfolio Holder, who
considers that this decision should be reviewed should give notice
using the call-in facility at the top of this page on the
Council’s intranet / extranet site. Alternatively, notice can
be given to the Monitoring Officer (Tanya Coulter) (in writing or
by e-mail) to be received ON OR BY 5.15 pm on 15 July 2024.

03/07/2024 - Local Authority Productivity Plan 2024 ref: 1208 Recommendations Approved
The Local Authority Productivity Plan 2024
(The Plan) provides a summary of the following key areas and
outlines how the council:
a.has transformed the way that services are
designed and delivered to make better use of
resources
b.plans to take advantage of technology and make
better use of data to improve decision making,
service design and use of resources; and
c.plans to reduce wasteful spend within the
organisation and systems.
The Plan also describes any barriers that are preventing progress
that The Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities
(DLUHC) could help to reduce or remove.

On Wednesday 3 July 2024, Cllr Jill Cleary,
Leader and Cllr Jeremy Heron the Portfolio Holder for Finance and
Corporate made the following decision:
That It is recommended that the Portfolio Holders:
a.note the contents of the Local Authority Productivity Plan
2024
(The Plan); and
b.approve The Plan for submission to the Department of
Levelling
Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC).
