Committee details

The Housing Overview and Scrutiny Panel consists of 10 Councillors and is responsible for the overview and scrutiny of housing and homelessness issues. It works closely with the following Portfolio Holder:-

Housing Services (Portfolio Holder – Cllr Jill Cleary)

- Housing Strategy and Development

- Council House Management

- Housing Allocations

- Private Sector Housing

- Homelessness

The Panel undertakes reviews of the Council's policies, advises on policy development, and reviews executive decisions.
