Cllrs Glass and Thorne disclosed non pecuniary interests in application 19/10138 as Members of Fawley Parish Council.

Comment:

Cllrs Glass and Thorne disclosed non pecuniary interests as Members of Fawley Parish Council.  They each concluded that there were no grounds under common law to prevent them from remaining in the meeting to speak and to vote.

It was noted that the application related to the single issue of determination under the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2010, with regards to an Appropriate Assessment.

Members welcomed the Unilateral Undertaking highlighted within the report which provided safeguards through the appointment of an Environmental Clerk of Works which enabled the Council to monitor and enforce non-compliance.

Decision:

That the application be granted.
