Minutes: Cllr M Wade declared a non - pecuniary interest in application 20/10139, as a member of Hythe and Dibden Parish Council and of its planning committee but had not voted or spoken on the item a the parish council, and because his son, Cllr A Wade, had submitted a statement on behalf of the Parish Council, recommending refusal of the application. He concluded that there could be a perception of bias and therefore made a statement at the introduction of the item and responded to members’ questions, but did not participate in the debate or vote on this application. He remained present during the consideration of this item.
Cllr R Clark declared a non - pecuniary interest in application 20/10139, as a member of Hythe and Dibden Parish Council. She concluded that there were no grounds under common law to prevent her from remaining in the meeting to speak and to vote.
