To elect a Chairman for the meeting.

Cllr Neil Tungate was elected Chairman of the Sub-Committee.

To note any declarations of interest made by members in connection with an agenda item. The nature of the interest must also be specified.

There were none.

At the conclusion of this part of the Agenda, the Chairman of the Sub-Committee will move the following resolution: -

“That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and the Press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Act and the public interest in maintaining the exception outweighs the public interest in disclosing it.”

That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and the press be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 & 2 of Parts 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

For the Sub-Committee to determine whether the named personal licence holder can continue to hold a personal licence with this authority issued under the Licensing Act 2003.

RESOLVED:

That the personal licence be revoked.
