To elect a Chairman for the meeting.

That Cllr Alvin Reid be elected Chairman of the Sub-Committee for this meeting.

To note any declarations of interest made by members in connection with an agenda item. The nature of the interest must also be specified.

No Declarations were made by any member of the Sub-Committee.

At the conclusion of this part of the Agenda, the Chairman of the Sub-Committee will move the following resolution: -

“That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and the Press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Act and the public interest in maintaining the exception outweighs the public interest in disclosing it.”

RESOLVED:

That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and the press be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 & 2 of Parts 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

To determine whether to grant a new Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence.

That the application for a new Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver's Licence be refused.
